As counsel in Foley Hoag's Administrative Law Department, Jeff Ganguly focuses his practice on transactional real estate matters involving acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing and development, including matters in support the firm's cannabis and renewable energy practice groups.
For almost 20 years, Jeff's primary area of practice has been commercial real estate transactions and development. He represents developers, property owners and investors in the acquisition, permitting, financing, construction, leasing, management and disposition of mixed use, office, retail, industrial, multi-family and hotel properties. He has also represented lenders and investors in debt and mezzanine financings and equity investments in commercial real estate projects. Jeff advises clients throughout the United States as well as regionally, including downtown Boston, Kendall Square, the South Boston Seaport, and the 128 and 495 corridors. His specialties include all asset classes of leasing, including office, warehouse and industrial, retail, as well as ground leases in connection with development; acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties including, mixed use, office, retail, warehouse and industrial, multi-family housing and hotels; development projects including site control, permitting and all aspects of due diligence; and financing, including construction, permanent, and mezzanine loans, as well as equity investments and joint ventures.
