Juan Pablo Hugues is an international associate and member of the International Litigation & Arbitration practice, in Washington, D.C. He represents sovereign States in international disputes and advises them on public international law, in general. Juan Pablo has experience in a wide range of public international law matters and disputes, including foreign investment, energy and deep-sea mining, law of the sea and environmental law, as well as international security. He has also participated in several multilateral and bilateral negotiations including under the aegis of the United Nations (UN) and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
