Kate Josephson focuses her work on vulnerable populations. Through that lens, she works on policy analysis and strategic outreach for both the commercial and nonprofit sectors with a primary focus on policy and advocacy related to health care, disability issues, and education. Kate has also worked on issues related to mental health, education, as well as the reauthorization of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
Throughout her career in public policy, Kate’s work has also focused on issues related to long-term services and supports (LTSS), including bringing her organizational management skills and social media expertise to Allies for Independence, a national nonprofit concerned with LTSS that is comprised of over 50 national organizations.
