Jared Kadich is an associate in Foley Hoag’s Administrative Law Department focusing on litigation and regulatory disputes involving environmental, transportation, and data privacy laws. Jared has experience assisting clients in matters governed by federal, state and local regulations, as well as experience in international commercial arbitration disputes, with a focus on environmental and construction disputes. Jared also assists clients with licensing issues relating to land use, data privacy, and cannabis.
Jared provides a range of services to clients operating in highly regulated industries. He assists clients with navigating complex state, federal and local regulations, particularly in the areas of data privacy, transportation, and environmental law.
As former Highway Chief of Staff for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Jared draws on his experience to assist clients involved in commercial contract disputes. His international experience includes representing clients under FIDIC contract disputes.
In the data privacy setting, Jared has experience advising clients regarding the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), the California’s Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the UK and EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Jared has also counseled cannabis businesses seeking licensure by drafting applications for competitive licenses.
While in law school, Jared served as an Associate and Senior Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. Prior to law school, Jared served as Chief of Staff for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s Highway Division where he supported the statewide implementation of All-Electronic Tolling.
