Oscar Norsworthy is a paralegal in Foley Hoag’s New York office, where he works with the International Litigation and Arbitration Practice on high profile international legal cases involving Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Bangladesh, India, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Oscar has worked on the representation of sovereign states before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and in matters of arbitration under the rules of the International Court of Justice (ICJ). He is responsible for all aspects of case management, including document review, translation coordination, submission of written pleadings and hearing preparation. Additionally, he frequently conducts case related research in English and in Spanish on factual and basic legal issues. Oscar also travels internationally to work with experts in arbitration hearings to interpret documents, provide technical support, and conduct additional research.
Prior to joining Foley Hoag, Oscar worked in Guatemala, Colombia, and Chile.
