Meredith Parkinson is an associate in the firm’s Business Department. Her practice focuses on advising public and private companies in corporate finance and bank lending. Meredith also helps advise clients on general corporate and commercial matters and has experience with mergers and acquisitions and leveraged buyouts.
Meredith has extensive experience advising loan agents and trustees in the refinancing and payoff of secured debt as well as representing clients in all aspects of restructuring transactions, including both sellers and purchasers in 363 asset sales, DIP financings, plans of reorganization, and bankruptcy litigation and appeals. Meredith also has experience working with publicly traded and private real estate investment trusts in connection with real estate financings, securitizations, repurchase agreements, and other secured lending arrangements.
Prior to joining Foley Hoag, Meredith spent seven years as an associate in the business restructuring department of an international law firm and worked out of the New York and Boston offices.
