Kristine Sheehy is an senior real estate attorney in Foley Hoag's Administrative Law Department. Kristine advises financial, corporate, non-profit and public entities in connection with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, development, financing and leasing. For over 20 years, Kristine’s practice has focused on commercial real estate transactions and development, including drafting and negotiating leases, financing documents, purchase agreements, development-related documents and condominium documents. Her specialties include commercial leasing, including, office, warehouse, industrial and retail; acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties, including office, industrial, and multi-family housing; and all aspects of due diligence. Kristine also has considerable experience representing clients in the cannabis and renewable energy field in connection with the real estate needs unique to these industries.

  • Advised Entegris, Inc. on the real estate matters related to the acquisition of MPD Chemicals for approximately $165 million.
  • Represented client in connection with the acquisition and development of an industrial facility to be used of cannabis cultivation in Holyoke, MA.
  • Advised Soltage in connection with the development of multiple solar energy projects in New England. 
  • Represented renewable energy clients in connection with the acquisition and financing of solar energy projects throughout MA. 
  • Represented one of the nation’s largest home construction companies in connection with the acquisition, development and permitting of single and multi-family development projects throughout MA, including drafting complex condominium documents, conservation restrictions, affordable housing restrictions, and other development documents. 
  • Represented public and private clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, development, financing and leasing.
  • Assisted clients with all facets of land use regulation, including zoning and environmental issues.
  • Represented a major telecommunications company in connection with the disposition and leasing of its property and drafting and negotiating license agreements for its telecommunication towers and facilities throughout New England.
  • Assisted redevelopment authorities in connection with negotiating development agreements, drafting legislation and implementing land use regulations.
