Sophia Sun

Sophia Sun focuses on advising public and private companies on a wide range of corporate matters including formation, financing, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate governance matters.

Sophia is an active member of the firm’s Energy Project Finance and Development practice, working with clients in the clean energy, climate, sustainability and technology sectors on innovative technologies and business approaches to solving energy and sustainability challenges. Sophia works with sponsors, investors, and developers on all aspects of renewable energy project development, tax equity, sponsor equity and debt financings, acquisitions, tax credits and state incentives.

During law school, Sophia worked as a Legal Intern at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, Fair Labor Division, focusing on a variety of labor and employment issues. She also participated in the BU/MIT Startup Law Clinic, advising campus-based entrepreneurs on a wide range of legal issues faced by early-stage business ventures.
