Pauline Véron, a counsel in Foley Hoag's Paris office, has broad experience in public and administrative law. She works on both litigation and advisory matters having to do with public law. She focuses on matters regarding local authorities, mixed economy companies and non-profit organizations. She also advises companies in their relations with public authorities.
For the past eight years, Pauline served as Deputy Mayor of Paris. In this capacity, she was in charge of local democracy, citizen participation, community life and youth, for which she created the participatory budget; organized citizen votes and support for associations, non-governmental organizations and foundations; and managed municipal facilities. Pauline was also responsible for the creation of a municipal employment service and was in charge of social and solidarity economy, including support for the development of social entrepreneurship and integration through economic activity.
