Christina Hioureas will be speaking at the 1st Global Summit of Hellenic Lawyers, happening July 7-10 in Athens, Greece. Under the overarching theme Safeguarding Democracy, Rule of Law and Justice: Global Challenges and the Role of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Summit will convene Greek legal experts from around the world through a sequence of panel discussions examining some of the most urgent challenges of our contemporary era. Hioureas’ panel will address Legal Development in Areas of Challenge: Migration / Asylum Governance and Climate Change.
The conference will be held in the iconic Acropolis Museum in the heart of Athens. Opening remarks will be delivered the night of July 7th, among others, by the President of the Hellenic Republic, the Minister of Justice of the Hellenic Republic, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, the Minister of Justice and Public Order of Cyprus, the Mayor of Athens, as well as heads of Greek and Cypriot Bar Associations in Greece and abroad.
