Anthony Mirenda, Partner and Co-Chair of the White Collar Crime & Government Investigations Practice, will join a panel titled, “Trade Secret Theft - Litigation & Investigations” at this year’s Lex Mundi Cross-Border Investigations Practice Group Meeting. The panel will discuss the cross-border criminal and civil issues arising from an alleged theft of trade secrets, using a case study about engineers from an American company taking key portions of an AI algorithm when switching to a Chinese competitor. Cross border internal investigation, law enforcement prosecution and civil litigation all face challenges posed by competing laws and when the witnesses, documents and data are all in China.
