Ofilio Mayorga will be moderating a roundtable at the General Counsel Conference Miami, organized by Law.com in partnership with the Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA). Under the title "Rethinking Disputes in Latin America", the roundtable will discuss topics such as whether there is a shift away from investor-state arbitration (ICSID, BITs); the rise of domestic courts and regional alternatives; political risk and state intervention; contract structuring and dispute planning; and enforcement and recovery challenges.
The Conference will bring together general counsel, chief legal officers, and senior in-house leaders from the US and throughout Latin America for a dynamic day of learning, networking, and strategic discussion.
