The Alliance for Climate Transition Policy Committee Meeting
June 10, 2026
June 10, 2026 3:30 PM — 4:00 PM
Aaron Lang, a partner in Foley Hoag's Energy & Climate practice, is speaking at The Alliance for Climate Transition Policy Committee Meeting. He will provide insights on the recent federal court decision vacating IRS guidance that imposed new "beginning of construction" standards specifically on wind and larger solar projects, effectively restricting the ways in which developers could meet certain “beginning of construction” requirements to claim expiring tax credits. The ruling restores the longstanding Five Percent Safe Harbor for wind and larger solar projects, at least for now, and could have significant implications for renewable energy developers navigating project timelines and tax credit qualification.
