After a major coastal storm, residents and businesses confront a defining choice: rebuild in place, relocate, or invest in long-term resilience. The Boston Green Ribbon Commission (GRC) and Harvard Business School (HBS) have developed an interactive game that explores the tradeoffs among speed of recovery, cost, and the opportunity to build back better within the post-disaster window. Participants will engage in small-group gameplay followed by a structured debrief examining how these lessons apply to real funding challenges in Boston and the broader region.
