Foley Hoag Named Top 25 Corporate Law Firm In National NYSE Governance Services Study
May 13, 2015
Directors, general counsel indicate they would choose the firm to represent their companies nationally
Foley Hoag LLP has been named one of the top 25 corporate law firms in the United States in the NYSE Governance Services’ 15th Annual America’s Best Corporate Law Firms Study of public company board members and general counsel.
NYSE Governance Services and partner FTI Consulting, Inc. rank corporate law firms by tabulating votes from more than 500 directors and general counsel of publicly traded companies. Respondents were asked to select 10 national firms from a list provided by NYSE Governance and FTI, or to write in a firm they would most likely turn to for corporate legal matters of national scope. The top 25 firms are selected based on the number of votes received from two pools of voters – directors and general counsel. Foley Hoag appeared on both lists.
“With hundreds of highly capable firms practicing corporate law in this country, to be ranked in the top 25 by both directors and general counsel of publicly traded companies is a great honor,” said Foley Hoag Co-Managing Partner William R. Kolb. “Our inclusion in these prestigious rankings is a testament to the hard work our partners and associates have put in over the years providing outstanding service and value to our clients.”
The Annual America’s Best Corporate Law Firms Study results will be published in the May 15 issue of NYSE Governance Service’s Corporate Board Member magazine, which reaches almost 20,000 directors and officers of companies listed on the NYSE Euronext and Nasdaq OMX Group stock exchanges.
