Foley Hoag Counsel Michael McQueeny Named to The Insider 100 Cannabis Power List for New Jersey
July 19, 2021
Foley Hoag LLP Counsel Michael McQueeny was recently named to The Insider 100: Cannabis Power List for the state of New Jersey. The list is a tribute to the top 100 voices involved in the movement to end the state of New Jersey’s prohibition of cannabis, which succeeded in 2020.
The Cannabis Power List honored McQueeny for his diverse client base of both larger multistate operators and upstart farmers, in addition to his work as counsel to the New Jersey Cannabis Trade Association, as a trustee for the Hyacinth Foundation, and as a teacher of cannabis law at New York Law School.
At Foley Hoag, McQueeny advises businesses, including investors, processors, distributors, retailers and cultivators, on the regulation of the cannabis and CBD industry, with a specific focus on New Jersey and New York. He has considerable experience counseling clients regarding licensing of cannabis and CBD-related entities and advising them on federal and state legislation, regulations and local laws governing the growth, processing, sale and use of cannabis.
