Two attorneys achieve Lawyer of the Year status

Five Foley Hoag attorneys in its Paris office have been recognized in Best Lawyers in France 2022 edition.

Best Lawyers - the peer review guide to the legal profession worldwide - published its annual list of peer-recommended French lawyers. Five lawyers from Foley Hoag's Paris office are among those listed in the 2022 edition of Best Lawyers in France: Corentin Chevallier, Environmental Law; Carine Le Roy-Gleizes, Energy Law and Environmental Law; Diana Paraguacuto-Mahéo, Arbitration and Mediation, and international arbitration; Andrea Pinna, Arbitration and Mediation, and International Arbitration; and Frédéric Scanvic, Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Public Law, and Regulatory Practice.

Recognition by Best Lawyers is based entirely on peer review. Its methodology is designed to capture the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.

In addition, Best Lawyers' Lawyer of the Year recognition is awarded annually to a standout lawyer in each practice area. For 2022, Best Lawyers in France recognized two Foley Hoag partners: Carine Le Roy-Gleizes (Environmental Law); and Frédéric Scanvic (Regulatory Practice). Selections are based on voting averages received during peer-review assessments conducted by Best Lawyers with thousands of lawyers throughout the year.
