Foley Hoag LLP has been named to the 2022 Law360 Pulse
Leaderboard, which analyzes the prestige, social impact, and legal footprint of U.S. law firms. The recognition highlights the legal acumen and social impact work conducted by the nation’s top law firms.
Described as "a ranking of law firms that are forging a new path to all-around excellence in the legal profession," the Leaderboard takes a holistic look at top law firms — and examines the balance law firms strike between the work they do, the reputation they build, and the commitments they make to socially responsible business practices.
According to Law360, the 100 firms on this list "are proving their worth to top talent, top clients, and the industry at large."
The overall Leaderboard ranking is the culmination of this year's suite of Law360 Pulse rankings, which look at law firms from multiple angles and build to a final score: the 2022 Social Impact Leaders list, and the 2022 Prestige Leaders list. Foley Hoag also appeared on both.
The Social Impact Leaders list measures firms' efforts across five pillars: racial and ethnic diversity; gender equality; employee engagement; pro bono service; and responsible business practices. The assessment is designed to evaluate social impact initiatives and measure the relative performance of law firms against their peers.
The Prestige Leaders list is a ranking of firms the industry recognizes for their prominence, power and distinction. Firms appearing on this list are "first-in-class when it comes to legal industry cachet," said Law360. This ranking measures firms' efforts across four indicators of reputation and prestige: financial performance; desirability; awards and accolades received; and positive media mentions and news sentiment.
