Foley Hoag LLP has announced that associates Jeremy Meisinger and Gisela Paris have been promoted to counsel effective January 1, 2022.
These attorneys strengthen many of Foley Hoag’s notable practices, including healthcare, privacy and data security, cannabis, international litigation and arbitration, and investor-state arbitration.

- Jeremy Meisinger. Meisinger advises healthcare providers, life sciences companies, insurers, and related entities on healthcare regulations at both the state and Federal level. His data privacy and security work focuses on helping emerging and established companies in developing external and internal policies as well as compliance with statutory regimes such as the CCPA and GDPR.
- Gisela Paris. Paris focuses on matters involving representation of sovereign States in disputes related to foreign investment and in international commercial arbitrations. She has worked on the representation of clients in ICSID, ICC and UNCITRAL arbitrations, on a variety of matters involving natural resources (gas, oil, gold, iron ore, sugar cane), electricity, agriculture, the food industry, construction, the shipping industry and joint ventures.
