Foley Hoag Partner Ken Figueroa will speak on a panel entitled “Disputes in Public-Private Partnerships /Concessions” on May 5, 2022 as part of the Arbitration Open 2022, hosted by The European Arbitration Association and taking place in Madrid, Spain.
The Arbitration Open will bring together arbitration practitioners from all over to discuss the latest developments and current affairs in international commercial and investment arbitration. Other topics that will be addressed throughout the conference include the impact on commercial and investment arbitration of sanctions against states; arbitration, sustainability and environment; ESG, the engine of cultural change; the digital future of arbitration; and current arbitrage trends in the energy sector.
At Foley Hoag, Figueroa is a member of the International Litigation and Arbitration Department and co-chair of the Latin America Practice. His practice focuses on international disputes, particularly on investor-state matters, commercial arbitration, and sovereign representation, as well as general advice regarding disputes prevention and resolution.
