Foley Hoag Recognized as Top Charitable Contributor in Massachusetts by Boston Business Journal

September 09, 2022

Foley Hoag LLP was named an honoree in the Boston Business Journal’s annual 2022 Corporate Citizenship Awards, a recognition of Massachusetts top corporate charitable contributors. Contributions made by the Foley Hoag Foundation played a large role in the firm’s recognition.

The Foley Hoag Foundation’s mission is to support programs addressing inequality in its various forms, including racial, ethnic, gender, and wealth disparities in all three of the firm’s U.S. cities – Greater Boston, New York City, and metropolitan Washington, D.C. – and to raise awareness about these issues. Within the past few months, it announced grants awarded to 41 organizations as part of its Spring 2022 Grant Round and a special 2022 Housing Grant Round. The Foundation recently celebrated it’s 40th anniversary and will be hosting an event this fall in commemoration.

The Boston Business Journal annually publishes this list to showcase companies that promote and prioritize giving back to their communities. This year 95 companies have qualified for the distinction by reporting at least $100,000 in cash contributions to Massachusetts-based charities in 2021.
