Foley Hoag Partner Tafadzwa Pasipanodya Named to GAR’s 45 Under 45 List for 2023
December 11, 2023
Foley Hoag LLP partner Tafadzwa Pasipanodya has been recognized by Global Arbitration Review (GAR) in its 2023 “45 Under 45” guide to leading figures of the international arbitration bar under the age of 45. She was selected for this honor from nearly 600 candidates world-wide and is one of only six U.S.-based lawyers to be selected.
Pasipanodya chairs the firm’s Africa practice group. She represents sovereign States from all over the world in investor-state and state-to-state disputes concerning natural resources, mining, energy, the environment, infrastructure, human rights and the law of the sea before arbitration tribunals and international courts. Recently, Pasipanodya co-led a Foley Hoag team that helped secure a victory for Nepal in its first investment arbitration case. She currently serves as a member of the ICC Court of Arbitration.
GAR is the world's leading international arbitration journal and news service. This is the third edition of GAR’s “45 under 45” guide, with the previous two being published in 2006 and 2011. Individuals appearing in the guide were selected following a lengthy nomination process, recommendations by market leaders in particular regions, and vetting by GAR’s editorial board and team of journalists and researchers.
