June 27, 2023

Foley Hoag LLP partners Malcolm Henderson and Joshua Jarvis have been named to the 2023 BTI Client Service All-Stars list. Henderson and Jarvis are part of a select group of attorneys recognized by in-house corporate counsel as client service leaders.

This annual survey conducted by BTI Consulting Group is the “gold standard” used by corporate counsel and law firms alike to identify leading attorneys who “stand above all the others in delivering the absolute best in client service.” Those recognized are from over 15 industry segments and are notably recognized for being practical, savvy, “in the know,” able to deal with complexity, available, and nimble, as defined by BTI’s definition of a Client Service All-Star.

Henderson is Co-Chair of Foley Hoag's Debt Finance Practice and focuses on debt and other corporate finance transactions. He has extensive experience representing clients in sophisticated debt financings. BTI noted the following client commentary: "Malcolm gets great outcomes for us. He's a true expert, and is very responsive to our needs." This marks Henderson's second consecutive year on the list, which earned him BTI All-Star MVP status.

Jarvis, Co-Chair of the firm's Intellectual Property Department, specializes in intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on high-level trademark and copyright strategy, including prosecution, policing, and transactions, as well as related matters including social media and new technology strategies. BTI noted the following client commentary: "Joshua knows how to get things done and gets great results and outcomes for us."

BTI Consulting staff conducted more than 350 in-depth interviews with top legal decision-makers at large organizations between January-November 2022 to arrive at the final list. BTI Client Service All-Stars also draws on data collected in BTI’s ongoing Annual Survey of General Counsel. This study includes between 50% and 55% of companies participating in prior years. This approach provides for accurate analysis of longitudinal trends while simultaneously allowing for insights into new, changing, and coming shifts in the legal market.
