Foley Hoag MP Hathaway Russell Recognized in 2025 WIPR Diversity List of Influential Women in IP

Foley Hoag Managing Partner Hathaway Russell has been named in the 2025 edition of the World Intellectual Property Review (WIPR) Diversity & Inclusion Top 100 List. Hathaway was recognized in the “Influential Women in IP” category, which lists "the best and brightest women in the IP field."
In the announcement, WIPR noted Hathaway’s leadership in the American Intellectual Property Law Association, having served as Chair of the Women in IP Committee, as well as Chair of the Women’s National Networking Events.
In her practice, Hathaway provides strategic patent counseling to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, early-stage life science businesses, and academic institutions. In May 2025, she was highly commended in the category of “Best Patent Prosecutor of the Year” and her department was short-listed as “Life Sciences Patent Strategy Firm of the Year” by the Life Sciences Patent Network (LSPN). In 2024, she was recognized as a “Go To Lawyer for Life Sciences/Healthcare” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, as one of the “Top Women in Law” by the same publication.
