Foley Hoag Partners Barbara Fiacco and Donald Ware have been selected for inclusion in Intellectual Asset Management (IAM)’s Global Leaders 2026 Guide.

To qualify for inclusion in the IAM Global Leaders, individuals must be ranked in the gold tier of the IAM Patent 1000, the market-leading annual directory that identifies the top law and attorney firms and individuals in the world’s most significant patent jurisdictions.

Fiacco, who co-chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property Department and its Patent & Trade Secrets Litigation practice, represents life sciences companies and research institutions in complex intellectual property matters, including patent and inventorship disputes as well as trade secrets disputes.

Ware advises leading biopharma manufacturers, research institutions, and universities on patent and inventorship disputes, technology transfer issues and intellectual property strategy. In naming him to the Massachusetts Lawyers’ Hall of Fame, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly noted that he has “litigated and prevailed in some of the most consequential and complex patent cases of the last 50 years.”

This marks the second consecutive year that both Fiacco and Ware have been recognized in the guide.
