I leverage my experience in inorganic and materials chemistry to safeguard client assets across the life science and clean energy industries.
Dr. Andrei Draguicevic is a technology specialist holding a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry. He brings deep expertise in transition metal chemistry as well as the organic and organometallic functionalization of materials. His scholarly contributions span a range of disciplines, including materials science, catalysis, and hydrogen storage.
Prior to joining Foley Hoag in 2026, Andrei received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Washington (UW) while working under Professor Alexandra Velian. His Ph.D. research focused on the organic and organometallic functionalization of 2-dimensional materials towards clean energy-related applications. During his Ph.D., he also spent time as a technical due diligence fellow though the UW Clean Energy Institute. As an undergraduate at Williams College, Andrei’s research focused on the synthesis of organic ligands to bind heavy metal ions for environmental remediation.
