Ellen Looney oversees the daily management and oversight of all health and welfare benefits, leaves of absence, compensation management and Human Resources operations at Foley Hoag. She drafts policy updates, improves process and manages the daily operations of the department.
Ellen has over 25 years of Human Resources experience in professional services organizations. Prior to joining Foley Hoag in 2005 as the Senior Human Resources Manager responsible for health and welfare benefits, she was a Recruiting Manager for Goodwin. Prior to her law firm experience, Ellen was the Human Resources Manager for Arthur Andersen’s Boston office.
Ellen and her team work closely with other areas of the firm to improve efficiencies and identify best practices through system enhancements and policy review and updates.
