Samuel R. Hoff


I help health care and life sciences companies navigate regulatory requirements, reimbursement issues, and other disputes.

Sam Hoff works with clients ranging from traditional healthcare providers to cutting-edge life sciences companies.

He represents clients in reimbursement disputes with public and private third-party payers, and provides regulatory guidance regarding federal and state fraud and abuse laws and facility and professional licensure requirements. Sam also counsels clients on issues involving information privacy and security, such as HIPAA compliance. 

Sam’s practice also includes work on healthcare transactional matters. These projects include medical and dental practice sales and acquisitions, partner buy-ins, the structuring of management service agreements between provider and non-provider business partners, and the formation of new entities. Sam further advises healthcare providers on the development of corporate governance plans, including the preparation and revision of bylaws, operating agreements, and stockholder or partnership agreements.
