As of January 1, 2021, Massachusetts employees will be able to take partially paid PFML leave for their own or a family member’s health condition, in relation to a family member’s service in the armed forces, and to bond with a new child. Please join us for a webinar on preparing for the start of these new PFML benefits on Thursday, November 5, 2020. In particular, they will discuss: The benefits and the maximum entitlements provided under the law Employee notice requirements Return-to-work procedures Coordination between existing leave policies and PFML leave Employers’ obligations under the law Different requirements for employers participating in the state plan and employers who are self-insured or offer benefits through private plans Speakers: Chris Feudo, Counsel, Co-Chair, COVID19 Taskforce, Foley Hoag LLP Erin Olesen, Associate, Foley Hoag LLP
