Massachusetts Energy Siting and Permitting Reform

February 05, 2025

Foley Hoag partner Zach Gerson will join the Massachusetts Bar Association Energy Law Practice Group for a presentation on energy siting and permitting reforms resulting from the 2024 climate law aimed at promoting a clean energy grid, advancing equity and protecting ratepayers in Massachusetts.

The program, co-chaired by Foley Hoag's Joshua Rosen, will feature a discussion on the practical implications of the recently enacted law, including how the law will reshape siting and permitting for clean energy projects, what developers need to know to navigate new processes and monitor key rulemakings and timelines for new and revised energy procurement authorities.
