In the article, which examines the impact of marijuana reclassification and possible tax relief, Schultz advises cannabis companies to carefully evaluate their tax strategies amid ongoing uncertainty. He noted that some businesses may benefit from, among other things, filing extensions or revisiting previously filed returns: “They may not owe that money.”
