Foley Hoag LLP and several attorneys have been recognized in the 2018 editions of Legal 500: Latin America and Legal 500: USA

Legal 500: Latin America ranked Foley Hoag in the International Arbitration category, calling attention to the firm's "solid track record of representing states in investor-state arbitration." Partner Mélida Hodgson was cited as having "a sharp legal mind as well as attention to detail." The guide's overview of the firm also listed partners Daniel Schimmel, Clara Brillembourg and international counsel Alberto Wray as individuals to note.

Legal 500: USA ranked Foley Hoag in the M&A/Corporate & Commercial: Middle-Market and the Dispute Resolution: International Arbitration categories. 

Within the M&A/Corporate & Commercial category, Legal 500 noted Foley Hoag as being experienced in advising buyers and sellers as well as private equity and other deal sponsors, and excelling in complex acquisitions and divestitures of technology and life science companies and assets. Partner Peter Rosenblum was recognized as highly rated.
