Erin Callahan

I work with innovative companies working to solve energy and sustainability challenges during their most critical stages – formation, scaling and exit.

Erin Callahan focuses on advising emerging companies and renewable energy companies on all aspects of their business, including a wide range of corporate matters such as formation, venture financing, project finance, and general corporate governance matters.

Erin is a member of the firm’s Energy & Climate practice group, working with clients in the clean energy, climate, sustainability, bluetech, and technology sectors on innovative technologies and business approaches to solving energy and sustainability challenges. Erin assists emerging companies in these spaces with all aspects of their business, including early-stage formation and structuring matters, venture financings, strategic alliances and acquisitions.

Erin is also a member of the firm’s Energy Project Finance and Development practice, and works with sponsors, investors and developers on all aspects of renewable energy project development, tax equity, sponsor equity and debt financings, acquisitions, tax credits and state incentives.

During law school, Erin worked as a New York Pro Bono Scholar at the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law’s Renewable Energy Legal Defense Initiative, providing pro bono legal representation to community groups and local residents who support renewable energy development in their communities but are facing opposition. She also served as a Submissions Editor of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law and participated in the Columbia Environmental Law Clinic.
