Federal Government Strategies

Advancing your legal, policy, and political objectives

Federal government policies can seem overly complex. In order to meet business goals, companies need legal counsel with a keen understanding of the wide breadth of federal law. Our attorneys and policy advisors have the knowledge and experience to help you make sense of the myriad federal government policies, regulations and oversight.

Our attorneys and policy advisors have developed a high degree of skill in the legislative and regulatory processes. We draft and analyze legislation; develop and coordinate legislative strategy and advocacy before Congress; prepare witnesses for hearings; represent clients in Congressional investigations; organize and coordinate advocacy coalitions; and monitor legislative activities, including hearings and committee markups, to keep our clients informed of the latest activities in Washington. We also help our clients in their dealings with the Executive Branch and regulatory agencies in complex rulemakings, adjudications and enforcements.

The core strength of our practice is the unsurpassed experience of our team, who have worked in senior-level positions in the Executive Branch, in the Congress, in regulatory and administrative agencies and in industry trade associations. This experience provides them with a unique breadth and depth of understanding and insight that underlies the value to our clients.
