Foley Hoag LLP recently represented threat intelligence software company Recorded Future in its $25M Series E financing led by Insight Venture Partners.
Recorded Future was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Somerville, Massachusetts, with offices in Virginia, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The company offers a software-as-a-service (SaaS) threat intelligence platform with Internet crawling capabilities that collect data from open, technical and dark web sources in real time. This information is then used to deliver targeted analytics and alerts that empower security teams to defeat cyber threats.
Recorded Future plans to use the Series E funds to support the company's rapid growth, geographical expansion, and to research solutions for current and future issues plaguing the cybersecurity industry.
Foley Hoag attorneys John Patterson, Amanda Vendig, Sara Mattern and Jeremy Arak advised Recorded Future in this matter.
