Foley Hoag LLP represented NODAR Inc., a maker of 3D vision software for autonomous vehicles, in a $12 million Series A funding led by global venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates with participation from existing investor Rhapsody Venture Partners. The funds will be used for research and development, and further productization of NODAR's core technology, as well as expanded sales and marketing initiatives.
Founded in 2018, NODAR is a provider of camera-based 3D vision technology and is a crucial safety component in the development of ADAS and autonomous vehicles, bringing safety, advanced performance, and cost-effectiveness to the automotive market. NODAR's award-winning 3D vision platform, called Hammerhead, delivers reliable, ultra-precise, and real-time 3D sensing at a ultra-long-range (up to 1000 meters), providing better-than-LiDAR 3D data at the price point of camera technology.
Foley Hoag attorneys Sara Mattern and Tiana Walden represented NODAR in the funding round.
