A Foley Hoag team advised Root.io, the creator and developer of a platform that remediates open-source software vulnerabilities, in its sale to Aikido Security BV, a cybersecurity company that helps software developers identify and fix code vulnerabilities. Aikido will integrate Root’s agentic tools into its existing platform, enabling developers to more quickly identify and patch code vulnerabilities.
The Foley Hoag team supporting Root was led by William Kolb, and included Barbara Klepper, Earl Mellott, Nitzan Fisher Conforti, Devyn Parry, Matt Donovan, and Alexandra Levay.
