Marc Graboyes is a corporate attorney and senior executive who serves as outside general counsel to founders, management teams, and investors on venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, licensing and strategic alliances, governance, and commercial agreements. He has led more than $1 billion in public and private financings, completed dozens of mergers and acquisitions, and served as outside general counsel to hundreds of companies and investors. He brings operator level judgment and leverages Foley Hoag’s full-service platform to help clients move from product development and commercialization through regulatory and market readiness, and ultimately strategic licensing and liquidity events.
Based in Denver, Marc is active in Colorado’s innovation ecosystem, including SPARK Colorado at CU Anschutz, Colorado OEDIT grant committees, and the Colorado Bioscience Association. Earlier in his career, Marc served as SVP & General Counsel of Allos Therapeutics (Nasdaq) and co founded and led a Colorado biotech through product launch and exit; he also served as Chief Legal Officer of a consumer goods portfolio company.

SVP & General Counsel, Allos Therapeutics (Nasdaq): legal lead on approximately $400 million in public and private offerings, a $360 million strategic collaboration with Mundipharma, and the company’s $206 million sale to Spectrum Pharmaceuticals; managed SEC and healthcare compliance, IP strategy, and board governance.
Co founder and CEO of a Colorado biotech: raised $10+ million from 70+ investors; developed and launched metered dose nasal and sublingual sprays; out licensed the Verra Wellness portfolio; led regulatory strategy and commercialization through exit.
